Even beginners can easily grow cacti.
Cacti are cute and are often used as interior decorations.
But did you know that the IQ of cacti is between 2 and 3?
So, this time, we conducted a thorough investigation on:
- Why is the IQ of cacti 2?
- Is the IQ of cacti really equivalent to that of humans?
- Which creatures or animals have low IQs?
- Are carnivorous plants intelligent?
We delved into it!
There are many researchers writing papers on the intelligence, memory, and emotions of plants like cacti.
Based on the research results, we have compiled information related to cacti IQ and males, so be sure to check it out!
When you talk to them or listen to music, they will surely grow more! ?

Why is the IQ of cacti 2?
“Cacti and plants are also intelligent” – This is where everything begins, a paper presented by a British botanist.
During the research, it was discovered that plants can think and act on their own to survive. That’s probably how they made this discovery.
It seems that the IQ of cacti is 2.
Well, I think plants, not just cacti, are intelligent because they adapt to their environment… pic.com/QzqHACocZT— SpringreeN (@NSpringree) August 2, 2020
So, what is IQ (intelligence quotient)? Intelligence is an enlightening word.
The ability to understand things and make decisions can be measured by IQ. The lower the number, the lower the intelligence, and the higher the number, the higher the intelligence..

50-69 | Can read, write, and do simple calculations. Can also use language |
35-49 | Can partially read, write, and do calculations. Can also use language |
20-34 | Can partially read, write, and do calculations. Can also do the following in language |
Less than 20 | Unable to read, write, or do calculations. Language is almost impossible. |
Based on this, let’s take a closer look at the Cactus IQ2 paper.
What is the paper about Cactus IQ2?
Who is the person who studied the IQ of cacti and plants? Dolly Pierce, a British botanist, did.
The British science magazine “FOCUS” conducted a special report on Dolly Pierce. They published a paper titled “Plants have problem-solving abilities”.

Of course, cacti IQ being measured as 2 is a mistake, as it is not assessed through an IQ test. However, like animals, plants have the ability to solve life problems. From the research results, plants may also have intelligence! That’s what I also thought.
In this paper, to study the problem-solving ability of plants, they used a parasitic plant called mistletoe and hawthorn trees with different nutritional states for experimentation.
It was found that mistletoes which parasitize poorly nourished plants cannot survive due to lack of nutrition. In other words, oak trees select the well-nourished trees to intertwine with. This is the case.

If a poorly nourished plant is parasitized, it will no longer survive due to insufficient nutrition. Therefore, blackberries choose well-nourished trees to live longer. That’s what it means.
Thus, being able to choose their own path = having wisdom. I also thought so.
That’s amazing!
Although we have not conducted experiments on cacti, it is believed that other plants, including cacti, possess similar survival abilities.
Are carnivorous plants also intelligent?
While we did not find information on the intelligence quotient of carnivorous plants, it seems that there are research results indicating that the Venus flytrap can be counted!
According to research, the counting ability of the Venus flytrap is important for distinguishing between prey and non-prey. This seems to be the case.
The Venus flytrap senses pressure inside the leaves and closes to catch prey. The number of times they touch the inside of the leaf differs based on the prey. If it’s a living insect, it will touch the inside of the leaf multiple times while trying to escape, but in the case of a stone or dead insect, it will touch the inside of the leaf only once, as they do not move.
In other words, the Venus flytrap counts the number of times they touch the leaf to determine if it’s prey or not. That’s what it means.
That’s astounding!
Like cacti, we do not know the IQ value of the Venus flytrap. The Venus flytrap’s “problem-solving ability in life” seems to be higher than other plants, perhaps.
Is the IQ of cacti the same as that of humans?
Especially on social media, there was a lot of buzz around “The IQ of cacti at the moment of ejaculation is about as high as that of cacti.”.
While this can be considered a joke circulating on social media, what is the reality?
The original story that sparked discussion
When I searched for “cactus IQ,” I found 2 instead of 4…
After thinking about it, I discovered that when a man ejaculates, his IQ increases to 2, so it seems I’ll be haunted by cacti flashing in my mind forever. […] October 25, 2017
I’m not sure where Cactus IQ became a trending topic.
However, especially on X, “Cactus IQ = Male IQ”. Many people treat this as a joke on Twitter, I think.
Also, many people tweeting seemed to have found it because it was automatically highlighted in the search, so many people might be aware of it from the automatic search results.
This seems to be becoming a hot topic!
Is the IQ really the same?
Is it really true that a male’s IQ at the moment of ejaculation is the same as the IQ of cacti? Upon investigation, it seems that human IQ does not immediately decline and is exaggerated as a joke, he said.
Did you know? A man’s IQ during sex is about the same as a cactus (IQ2), so if you ask “Hello! What day is Saturday?” in a conversation during sex, they might gasp and answer, “It’s Tuesday!” as they cum. Just cumming and answering doesn’t make it a conversation, so it’s fun. Give it a try!
— Sasa-ane (@sersa_h) January 5, 2022
As mentioned earlier, it is said that men cannot engage in conversation, which is why their IQ drops to the level of cacti. However, when humans focus on one thing, it becomes difficult to do other things at the same time. It is not restricted by gender or situation.
In other words, when a man ejaculates
