アロマ工房コノミヤでは、化学香料を使用せず自然の植物から精油を配合した化粧品や線香を作る体験ができる。坂井真紀さんは糸島市代表で、食育や農業をテーマにした無料イベントを週末に開催している。彼女は地元支援を広げ、糸島の風景を守る新しいプロジェクトも計画中。さまざまな活動を通じて地元を支える酒井さんは、食育やアロマテラビーを通じて地元の魅力を伝える活動を展開している。また、環境再生プロジェクトなど、次の目標に向けた準備を進めている。
At Aroma Workshop Konomiya, you can experience making cosmetics and incense using essential oils blended with natural plants without using any synthetic fragrances. Maki Sakai, a representative of Itoshima City, has built a trailer next to the atelier and holds a free event called “Kodomono Ie Terakoya Island” on Saturdays focusing on food education, agriculture, and learning. Sakai is expanding the local support network through various activities and already planning a new project to preserve the original landscape of Itoshima for the next generation.

Spreading the Charm of Natural Ingredients Through Original Aroma Cosmetics and Incense Making
Surrounded by mountains and beautiful countryside landscapes, Itoshima-Shima area. The “Kao Workshop” run by Maki Sakai, a storyteller of “Aozora Mountain Night”, is located overlooking Mt. Kagaoya, also known as Itoshima Fuji, offering a distinctive conical shape against the clear blue sky in the background.
Greeted with an innocent smile, chickens happily hopping around the garden caught the attention of Sakai.

Prior to this, Sakai was a web designer. At the age of 30, during fertility treatments, she became interested in aromatherapy and learned the techniques of an aroma therapist at a vocational school, later opening a salon in Fukuoka City.
“Originally, I had always admired a hidden salon that only accommodates 1-2 people a day, but soon after opening, I had a child. Thinking about future childcare, I realized there was limited space, so I relocated,” she returned to her hometown of Itoshima.
